Terms and Conditions

These are the terms on which we sell all wines and associated products to you. By ordering any of our products you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please note that you can only purchase wines from us if you are eligible to enter a contract and are at least 18 years old.

Privacy

At Southlands Valley Wines we value our customers and their security. We do not share customer details with any third parties without permission. We will only use your personal data to provide goods and services you have requested from us and promise to keep your personal data safe and secure.

Your payment card details are handled by secure connection from your device to our payment service providers, and are not stored or processed by our website.

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will from time to time send you our newsletters and special offers via email. You can change your mind about receiving our newsletters at any time by emailing us at info@smockalley.co.uk or following the link to unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.

Ownership

All goods remain the property of Southlands Valley Wines until payment in full has been received for the wine or other goods.

Prices & Payment

Prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate applicable at the time of your order.

The price of our products, services and any additional delivery or charges is as set out on the website at the date of your order.

Payment may be made by submitting your credit or debit card details with your order and payment will be taken immediately.

For Click and Collect Orders, payment will be taken at time of order. If you do not collect your order within 14 days we will assume the order is cancelled and we will refund the full amount of the order to your payment card.

Delivery

Delivery costs are as displayed at time of order on the Checkout page of our Online shop.

Returns/Risk

All wine shall be at the customer’s risk from the point of delivery to the customer. It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you need to return an order please refer to our Delivery and Returns page.

Age Restrictions

It is illegal to sell wine to anyone who is under 18 years old. For this reason, the company reserves the right to refuse to accept an order. Furthermore, it is also illegal to purchase wine on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18. By placing an order, the customer is confirming they are at least 18 years old and the intended recipient is 18 or over.

If the delivery agents are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the goods is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our delivery agents will be unable to leave the goods.

Complaint Handling Policy

We always aim to provide the highest standard of care in all our services and quality of our wines. Our customers’ views are important to us and help to ensure our products and services are consistently meeting people’s needs. If you are unhappy with any of our products and services, please let us know.

We aim to handle complaints quickly, effectively and in a fair and honest way. We take all complaints seriously and use valuable information from investigating to help us improve the service we provide. We treat all complaints in confidence.

We will acknowledge a complaint within 3 working days and give you the name and contact details of the person investigating it. We will keep you informed about the progress of the investigation and aim to have all complaints finished within 28 working days unless we agree a different time scale with you.
