DELIVERY & RETURNS POLICY

Delivery

  • Free Delivery within the UK mainland for orders over £80
  • Smaller orders can be delivered for £7.50 to cover our postage and packing costs

Please note that we can only deliver to addresses on the UK mainland.

Orders will be dispatched within 2 working days. Our carrier aims to deliver within 2 to 3 days of dispatch, but at busy periods e.g. Christmas please allow extra time for delivery.

If your order is urgent, please contact us at info@smockalley.co.uk and we will endeavour to arrange delivery to meet your request but additional delivery costs may be incurred.

All wine must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. The courier will ask for identification if the recipient appears to be under 25. If the recipient appears to be under 25 and cannot provide relevant id to the reasonable satisfaction of the courier, delivery will not be made. The goods will be retained by the delivery agent, and the delivery agent will leave notification of attempted delivery for you to rearrange delivery or collection from the couriers nearest service point.

If age verified delivery or collection is unsuccessful within 18 days, the courier will return the order to Southlands Valley Wines. On receipt of the goods we will refund the original cost of the goods, less the delivery costs, to the original payment card.

Returns

Upon receipt, if your order is damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to arrange a return or replacement, at no cost to yourself.

Cancellations

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt of the goods.

If you change your mind and we have not yet dispatched your order, we will refund the full cost of your order and any delivery charges. If we have already dispatched your order you must accept delivery and then return the goods to us at your own cost.

After delivery, if you simply changed your mind, you have 14 days to notify us if you wish to cancel your order. You must return the items to us at your own cost and, on receipt, we will refund the cost of the goods to your original payment card. You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you notify us of your cancellation.

Please note that all goods must be returned in their original packaging and without signs of use.
